I remember 10 yrs ago, my sweet babies crawling around on a blanket & living in Louisville, turning on the tv and watching the events of that morning unfold. Holding them close and wondering what kind of world they would be growing up in...and the tears. As we all remember, I want to share the community service project they did this weekend with their Dad in remembrance of 9/11.
9/11 Day of Service organized through Clorox, they took off yesterday morning and drove to downtown ATL area to a school that had burned down a year ago to help in the restoration process by painting murals on the wall of the school. This is the before picture.
And during the 4 hours they painted......
They came home feeling so proud! I thought they did an amazing job!!!!
