Little by little...getting settled

We are doing well. Slowly getting settled and starting to decorate the house. My friend Theresa and I went out last week to a fun sidewalk sale at a neat shop in Alpharetta called Outrageous Interiors. I found some great stuff, (book ends, hour glass, black chest, old looking camera prop, decorating books, old looking ceramic vase/urn thing) and lampshade that I picked up at Home Goods. I will post pics once I get everything in it's place. I just started hanging some things on the walls so it's getting there. But I was very excited to find some bargains.

Kids are doing well and adjusting to a new school. Girls actually did great. They had instant friends & Ben has slowly started to make friends. We have discovered that fifth grade has a lot of homework. So that has been an adjustment in itself. But both are off to a great start. Just still trying to get used to the early start time but I love having them home early every afternoon since school dismisses at 2:20 each day. The school is great, teachers have been awesome and it's nice being so close to school. (we walk part of the way most every day, I say part because we haven't attempted walking the big hill by our house yet so we drive and walk from the next street up)

Trevor is staying busy and enjoying the challenge of the new transportation managers job. His commute is about 30 min. to work but he stays off the interstates and avoids the bad traffic most of the time.

Sorry for being so slow on the updates. I am sure I will get another update out soon because we have company coming for the weekend and there will be fun cousin pics to post. Trevor's brother Sean, his wife (Cosima) and their kids, (Will, Calla & Reilly) are coming tomorrow for the weekend. Molly woke up this morning with this quote, "oh great, just one more sleep until they get here" so the kids are ready for them!
